Health-wellness programs
We work personally with individuals to promote healthy living including:
- Reviewing overall health and any major (ambulatory) issues
- Creating personalized plans for nutrition and exercise
- Encouraging regular visits to primary care appointments
- Providing medical resources based on the individual’s area
Our resources are informed and approved by health professionals including our contact nurse practitioner and optometrist.
Maintaining good health allows individuals to show up for themselves, their family, and their community.
Household Management
As part of BBCH, community members can receive donated necessities and goods. We help teach individuals and families how to best use various items. For example, we provide tips on how to use household appliances (air fryer, laundry machine, etc.) relating to:
- Safety
- Cleaning and maintenance
- Repair
- Budgeting
Our goal is to instill skills that translate into everyday life and contribute to the community.
